We are heading towards the end of the DT2 Invest Launchpad Initiative. Some of the milestones we have achieved:

  • All our Market Consultation events took place (digitally)

  • DT2 Country Reports are online

  • We extended our DT2 network with more VC Funds and ecosystem Partners

  • We took the virtual stage at the European Blockchain Week in Slovenia - read more below

What’s still to come

See you in Helsinki for the DT2 Invest Final Event

DT2 Invest Launchpad Final event is taking place in partnership with Slush, physically in Helsinki from December 1 to 2, 2021. We are putting up together an exciting side programme. Meanwhile, if you are an innovative early-stage start-up do not miss the opportunity to participate in Slush’s pitching competition.

Who can apply? Companies founded in 2018 or later, that have raised less than 500k EUR in equity.

How do I apply?

HIGHLIGHTS

DT2 Live session in the EUBCW2021

DT2 Invest contributed to the European Blockchain Week 2021 hosted by the Slovenian Digital Center under the Slovenian Presidency of the EU Council. The session took place last Monday, 20. SEP at 16:00 CET with two panels for Blockchain and AI: Public and Private Financial Ecosystems.

Participants heard directly from public authorities and VCs, together with innovative European Entrepreneurs how they are shaping the financial ecosystems for the economy of the future.

Don’t worry if you missed the session, the recording will be available as part of the DT2 Invest MOOC offer.

With more than 1200 registered participants from 86 different countries, +25 panels and workshops, +120 speakers and +20 co-organisers, the EBCW2021 was one of the most impactful Blockchain & AI events in 2021.

Within 2 hours of exchange, the discussions went around topics like:

  • The role of the governmental institutions in providing a safe space and financial means

  • A highlight of the technology convergence happening in industrial sectors

  • The need to encourage individuals to explore new business models

  • The importance of specialized VCs in the AI and Blockchain space and providing operational support for early-stage companies
